Description:		This is a preliminary linguistic analysis of plant names in Ikpána, which also investigates lexical borrowing in the botanical domain. It is the result of 12 days of fieldwork in the Logba Traditional Area (specifically in Alakpeti, Klikpo, and Tota) documenting native speakers of Ikpána describing the names and usages of local plants in the Ikpána language. This was carried out as part of the Independent Study Project required by the undergraduate study abroad program during the Fall 2009 term in Ghana. The document was updated with corrections in June 2011.
